Calgary's Quintessential Inner-City Neighbourhood
Altadore, often paired with River Park as a single community, sits in southwest Calgary between the Elbow River valley to the east and the Marda Loop shopping districts along 33rd and 34th Avenue SW to the north. Established in the 1950s, it has the two things newer communities cannot manufacture: full-grown boulevard trees and generous original lots.
Buyers searching for Marda Loop real estate are, in practice, almost always looking at Altadore addresses — Marda Loop itself is the commercial district, with very little detached housing.
